Episode 71: From the Dream, A Revolution
1776177617761776177617761776
(On Poetry Square, addressing the Tea Party gathering)
Olam: Well, Keepers, gathered here from all parts of our globe, on behalf of the human dream of freedom--of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness as God-given qualities that no Man can put asunder--we are here rededicating our lives to that liberty for all, not just the few.
To all who are, themselves, gifts from God, contained often in humble packages of hidden substance. Plain wrappings that we may deride while favoring the glitterati of dust and a learned deception that sleights the good news.
To all, not just the few overlords who rise up unwittingly like noxious gas from the underworld with perfumed words and clever twists on language to make themselves and us believe that somehow they are entitled to the governing of our lives.
Our legacy is to honor that dream our Founders codified in the U.S. Constitution and practiced in their sacred and secular duties. Our fight is to keep that dream alive.
So in that human spirit, let us take
our reminders from wherever and whence they come.
Get the connection, people of the world...and the overlords who would run them?
Lady Liberty: Take up your torch, beleaguered U.S. citizens, under assault from all corners of the globe, not the least of which is Washington, D.C. and the imperial benches from here to there.
(Citizen waving his Tea is for Tyranny sign): Huzzah!!
Property is the fruit of labor...property is desirable...is a positive good in the world. That some should be rich shows that others may become rich, and hence is just encouragement to industry and enterprise. Let not him who is houseless pull down the house of another; but let him labor diligently and build one for himself, thus by example assuring that his own shall be safe from violence when built.
How far from our homeland have we wandered!!! And for more than 40 years, so our youth have not noticed the breadth and depth of departure from that charter of good news. Little disordered steps in the name of "change" or "organizing" or "progressive reform" or "
new foundation"s.
(Citizen waving No Mandate for Tyranny sign) Huzzah!!!
Humpty Dumpty speakeasy has been our childrens' indoctrination.
But for all the erosion, we still have our rock, solid foundation in codified freedom: free speech, free market, freedom of assembly, freedom of religion, freedom to bear arms and stop the encroachment of overlords who have lost their way.
We have our rock of liberty in a separation of powers, Mr. President, Justices, and Congress. We have our rock of liberty in our Federalism and our 10th amendment that ensures you will not overstep and misstep by disordering our ordered liberty. That you will not mistake innovative applications of our foundational principles for uprooting the very foundation of that liberty and stuffing into that sinkhole your silken, but synthetic plants which will fail to bear any fruit for our offspring. Such "change" is neither new nor foundational to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.
(Citizen waving Change Begins with You, Fearless Leader) Huzzah!! Huzzah!!
The new administration is off course, and is not bringing hope for the right change: restoring our Constitution and our culture of freedom. We are a self-governing people, however, because we understand that our God-given rights and responsibilities cannot be usurped by Man. Or woman, Ms.
Homeland Insecurity, who couldn't manage to adhere to the few federal laws to which she was bound as a governor, namely, protecting her borders from illegal crossing. And now she is declaring that our soldiers and citizens may be enemies of the state? Or is she, perhaps like the President, towing the line for some other ship of global statism, steered by the geldings for redistributive piracy? That would be a hostile take-over by proxy fight and a loser for the pretenders to the helm.
(Citizen waving No Government Against our Constitution is Legitimate: Quo Warranto?) Huzzah!
(Citizen waving Liberty for All, not Tyranny from the Few!)
(Citizen waving The Revolution was 1776! You're not Changing THAT Foundation, reactionaries!)
(Citizen waving If you Think Liberty is "right wing extremism", you're wrong!)
We are not fooled by appearances with politicians who would squander the good faith and hope of American citizens by overthrowing our government in the name of progress. We are familiar with that old-line "progressive" movement from the 20th century and we witnessed its abject failure to deliver on its childish, other-worldly promises.
The American dream delivers. It is grounded in the spirit of truth that cannot be compromised--self-evident truths when deception has worn out its welcome.
(Citizen waving Not Tax, Spend and Regulate, but Repeal, Limit, Liberate!)
(Citizen waving
Join the Patriotic Resistance in that Shining City on the Hill)
Let anarchy's long march to tyranny end here. They, being left and right extremists, are not invited to central casting in this human cause celebre. We will know them by their acts. And we will keep our Republic. As Harry Truman understood, may our "leaders" be servants to the people and follow the good conscience of that great cause.
